BLTM — Business, Leisure Travel and MICE — is India's dedicated corporate and MICE travel show, held at Yashobhoomi (IICC) in Dwarka, New Delhi. The 2026 edition ran 2–4 September. Organisers report 500-plus exhibitors from 25-plus countries, 300-plus corporate, MICE and premium leisure buyers, and more than 10,000 trade visitors.
The segment it serves
Corporate travel and MICE operate on different commercial logic from leisure. Buyers are corporate travel managers, event organisers and specialist MICE agencies; decisions turn on venue capacity, group logistics, incentive programme design and duty of care rather than on consumer appeal.
India's outbound MICE market has grown substantially as domestic corporates take incentive groups and conferences offshore, particularly to Southeast Asia and the Gulf. BLTM exists because that buyer is poorly served by general leisure shows.
Where it sits against SATTE and OTM
SATTE and OTM are broad travel-trade exchanges with MICE as one segment among many. BLTM inverts that: MICE and corporate are the show, and leisure appears in its premium and incentive forms.
For a convention bureau, a resort with meeting space, or a DMC running incentive groups, the buyer concentration is far higher even though the show is smaller.
Venue note
BLTM shares the Yashobhoomi venue with SATTE, near Indira Gandhi International Airport in Dwarka. The same practical advice applies — the complex is closer to the airport than to central Delhi's traditional hotel districts, so plan transfers and accommodation accordingly.
What MICE buyers actually evaluate
The questions asked at BLTM differ sharply from a leisure show. Buyers want room-block capacity and meeting-space configurations, ground-handling capability for groups, incentive programme ideas that will motivate a sales team, visa processing realities for large delegations, and increasingly duty-of-care and crisis-response arrangements.
Suppliers who arrive with leisure collateral and no group capability data struggle. The useful preparation is factual: capacities, group rates, precedent for handling Indian delegations, and named references.
India's outbound MICE trajectory
Indian corporate incentive and conference travel has expanded as domestic companies have grown and offshore programmes have become routine rather than exceptional. Southeast Asia and the Gulf capture much of that volume on cost and flight-time grounds, with Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore and the UAE all actively competing for it.
That competition is what fills BLTM's floor, and it is why destinations further afield increasingly appear there too, arguing that longer flights are justified for higher-value incentive groups.
