SATTE 2027 runs from 19 to 21 January 2027 at Yashobhoomi (India International Convention & Expo Centre) in Dwarka, New Delhi, from 10am to 6pm each day, and entry is by trade registration only. SATTE, short for South Asia's Travel & Tourism Exchange, is organised by Informa Markets in India, which says the show has run for more than three decades and describes it as India and Asia's leading travel and tourism exhibition.
It is a business-to-business marketplace. Tourism boards, hotels, airlines, cruise lines, destination management companies and travel-technology firms from around the world exhibit to sell into India's travel trade, while Indian travel agents, tour operators, corporate travel buyers and wedding planners attend to source product. For overseas suppliers, OTM in Mumbai follows on 1 to 3 February 2027, so both shows can be covered on one trip.
Who exhibits and who attends SATTE?
The last edition, SATTE 2026, ran from 25 to 27 February 2026 at the same venue. The economic impact report Informa produced with EY counts 1,500+ exhibitors and 45,000+ visits and estimates ₹193 crore in economic impact. In the same study 89% of exhibitors said they generated business leads and 92% were positive about returning. The organiser's headline counters, which are not tied to a single year, add 28 state tourism boards, 60+ countries and 1,500+ hosted and VIP buyers.
Informa's exhibitor profile lists national and international tourism organisations, state tourism departments, airlines and air-charter companies, cruise lines, hotels and resorts, DMCs, car-rental firms, technology companies, medical, wellness and sports tourism suppliers, and educational institutes. Exhibitors quoted on the SATTE website include Tourism Malaysia, which brought more than 55 industry partners, Visit Maldives, the Uganda Tourism Board, Norwegian and the B2B distributors TBO.com and TripJack. Because state tourism departments exhibit alongside foreign destinations, the floor covers domestic as well as outbound travel.
On the buying side, the organiser's visitor profile names tour operators, travel agents, wedding planners, corporate travel decision-makers, investors in hospitality, leisure and travel, and location planners from television and film production houses.
How to attend SATTE 2027
Trade visitors register online through Informa's visitor portal, which is already taking SATTE 2027 registrations from travel agents and tour operators. A separate "Other Business" form covers visitors from other companies.
| Registration route | Who it is for | Status on 25 October 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| Travel Agents / Tour Operators | Agency and tour-operator staff | Open on the visitor portal (₹500 fee) |
| Other Business | Visitors from other companies | Form live on the visitor portal |
| Domestic hosted buyer | Indian buyers | Organiser: details "will be updated soon" |
| International buyer | Overseas buyers | Form live on the visitor portal |
| Media and speakers | Journalists; conference speakers | Forms live on the visitor portal |
Cost: On 25 October 2026 Informa's visitor portal showed a ₹500 all-inclusive registration fee for travel agents and tour operators; the other forms show no price up front. Exhibition space is priced on enquiry through the organiser's stand-booking form, and the SATTE 2027 sponsorship brochure lists packages from ₹40,000 for a charging kiosk to ₹35 lakh for the networking dinner, plus taxes.
Hosted buyers: Informa says more than 1,500 domestic and international buyers have attended SATTE as buyers. It has not yet published 2027 eligibility rules or what the hosted package covers: on 25 October 2026 the domestic hosted-buyer page said details "will be updated soon", while the international-buyer form for SATTE 2027 was already live on the visitor portal.
Is it open to the public? No. Informa publishes no public days, and every registration route is for the trade, buyers, media or speakers; the registration terms admit students from relevant industries with an institute ID only from 12.30pm on 21 January. Overseas visitors who need a visa should ask the organiser about invitation letters early, because its visa-application page still showed the 2026 window as closed when we checked.
Networking at SATTE: meetings, conference and events
Informa promises exhibitors pre-scheduled B2B meetings with buyers, and the 2027 sponsorship brochure confirms networking dinners on days one and two for Indian and international buyers and VIP guests, hosted-buyer lunches, a VIP and buyers' lounge, and paid product-presentation slots for exhibitors. The organiser has not published details of a 2027 meeting app, so exhibitors should ask their sales contact when appointment scheduling opens.
The SATTE conference runs alongside the exhibition. Speakers listed in the 2025 post-show report included the Government of India's Director General of Tourism, TBO.com co-founder Ankush Nijhawan and VisitBritain's country manager for India, and speaker registration for 2027 is open on the visitor portal.
Getting to Yashobhoomi and where to stay
Yashobhoomi sits in Sector 25, Dwarka, close to Indira Gandhi International Airport. According to the organiser's venue page, the Airport Express (Orange) Line runs from the airport and New Delhi Railway Station direct to Yashobhoomi Dwarka Sector-25 station, which is inside the venue; Dwarka Sector-21 station on the Blue Line is adjacent. By road the venue is reached from Urban Extension Road-2, and prepaid taxis and app-based cabs operate around the clock at the airport. Informa's free shuttle service page said "Coming Soon" on 25 October 2026.
For accommodation, the organiser's "For Hotels & Stay Bookings" link goes to LGT Holidays, which bills itself as the SATTE 2027 hospitality partner. Its list covers Dwarka hotels about 5 to 8 km from the venue, including Vivanta by Taj Dwarka, Welcom ITC Dwarka and Radisson Blu Dwarka, and the Aerocity hotel district beside the airport, about 9 to 12 km away, including Pullman, Novotel, Andaz and JW Marriott. Base single rates on the list run from ₹5,000 to ₹44,000 a night.
How SATTE compares with OTM and other January shows
OTM, organised by Fairfest Media, runs from 1 to 3 February 2027 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. Its 2026 post-show report counts 2,200+ exhibitors from 60+ countries and 50,000+ trade visitors, against SATTE's 1,500+ exhibitors and 45,000+ visits. The visitor measures differ, so treat the comparison as indicative. Both organisers describe their show as India and Asia's leading travel trade event.
SATTE also overlaps with FITUR in Madrid (20 to 24 January 2027) and the ASEAN Tourism Forum in Singapore (18 to 22 January 2027), so suppliers covering several regions will have to choose. Dates for other shows are on our travel trade shows calendar.
