OTM 2027 runs from 1 to 3 February 2027 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai, and only vetted trade buyers get visitor badges: tourism boards, DMCs, hotels and other suppliers cannot register as visitors and are pointed to booking a stand. Organised by Fairfest Media, OTM calls itself "the gateway to India's outbound travel markets" and bills itself as India and Asia's leading travel trade show, citing a survey it commissioned from NielsenIQ.
It is built for destinations and travel suppliers worldwide that want to sell to India's outbound tour operators, travel agencies, corporate travel and MICE planners, luxury specialists and wedding planners. The exhibitor manual sets trade hours of 10:00 to 18:00 on 1 and 2 February and 10:00 to 17:00 on 3 February, but Fairfest's visitor-registration page gives 11:00 to 18:00.
Who exhibits and who attends OTM?
OTM 2026 ran from 5 to 7 February 2026 at the same venue. Fairfest's post-show report counts 2,200+ exhibitors from 60+ countries and 50,000+ trade visitors, along with 45+ national tourism organisations and convention bureaus, 30+ Indian states and union territories, 50,000+ pre-scheduled meetings and 40,000+ sq m of space. Its headline grid gives 1,100+ hosted and VIP buyers, although the report's narrative says 1,000+.
National tourism organisations named in the report include Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Zambia, Morocco, Indonesia, the Cayman Islands, Sarawak and Thailand, whose tourism authority said 36 Thai sellers took part. Airlines included Malaysia Airlines, Air India, Air India Express and Uzbekistan Airways, and Indian distributors such as TBO.com, TripJack, RezLive and Riya Tours & Travels exhibited. Indian states such as Jammu & Kashmir and Maharashtra also exhibited.
On the buying side, Fairfest says it assesses each registrant's purchasing intent and authority and rejects more than 30% of registration requests. Western India supplied over half of non-local trade buyers in 2026, with Delhi NCR and north India also strongly represented. Dedicated tracks bring in corporate travel and MICE buyers, destination wedding planners and, through the Cine Locales programme, film and streaming producers such as Netflix, Amazon Studios and Yash Raj Films.
How to attend OTM 2027
Trade visitors register through Fairfest's ticketing portal. OTM's entry terms reserve visitor badges for qualified travel-trade buyers. Categories that cannot register as visitors include tourism boards, DMCs, hotels, cruise lines, airlines, travel-technology vendors, representation companies and anyone who is both a buyer and a seller. Suppliers who want to sell must book a booth, and handing out sales material outside a rented stand is banned.
Cost: On 25 October 2026 Fairfest's ticketing page listed trade-visitor registration at an early-bird ₹499, against a full price of ₹1,499. Exhibition space is priced per square metre:
| OTM 2027 space rate (per sq m) | Standard | Corner | Peninsula | Island |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Early bird, 1 June to 31 October 2026 | US$490 / ₹44,000 | US$535 / ₹48,000 | US$580 / ₹52,000 | US$625 / ₹56,000 |
| Standard, after 31 October 2026 | US$545 / ₹48,000 | US$595 / ₹52,000 | US$645 / ₹56,000 | US$695 / ₹60,000 |
GST at 18% is added and payment is due at booking. Stands include one exhibitor badge per 2 sq m, with extra badges at ₹5,000 or US$60 plus GST.
Hosted buyers: the programme is aimed at outbound tour operators, corporate travel buyers, MICE and incentive planners, luxury travel designers, wedding planners, online travel platforms, leisure agencies and association or group buyers. Applicants need direct purchasing influence or decision-making authority, must source travel internationally, run regular outbound or MICE business and be available for pre-scheduled meetings. After a qualification review, confirmed buyers book meetings in the Snapcard app. Fairfest offers fully hosted (return airfare support and hotel), semi-hosted (hotel support) and self-hosted packages. It has not published a 2027 application deadline.
Is it open to the public? No. Fairfest describes OTM as "an exclusive B2B event for qualified travel-trade buyers", with no public days. Journalists apply through a separate media registration on the OTM website.
Networking at OTM: app, meetings and the OTM Forum
Snapcard is the official OTM app, offering AI-based exhibitor and buyer matchmaking, meeting scheduling, interactive floor plans and in-app messaging. Both stand packages include meeting-diary and exhibitor-portal access, but the 2027 exhibitor manual says the online diary opens on 1 February 2027.
The OTM Forum runs conference sessions alongside the exhibition. In 2026 its programme included "India at 100 Million", a tourism-board panel including Switzerland, Mauritius and Malaysia, a session on India's online travel market with speakers from MakeMyTrip, Cleartrip and Paytm, and a corporate-travel day with buyers from Reliance Industries, Deloitte and Tata Consultancy Services. Destination Showcase slots let exhibitors present to buyers, and WeddingSutra Engage covers weddings.
Exhibitor catalogue entries are due by 15 December 2026. And Fairfest's fraud alert says it never sells attendee data: treat any unsolicited offer of OTM attendee lists, directory listings or hotel bookings that does not come from its official contacts as fraudulent.
Getting to the Jio World Convention Centre and where to stay
The venue is at G Block, Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai 400051, in the city's central business district. Jio World Centre's own directions page puts Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport about 30 minutes away by road and the Mumbai Metro Aqua Line a 7 to 10 minute walk from the centre. The nearest suburban rail stations, Bandra, Kurla and Santacruz, are 10 to 20 minutes by road, and BEST buses serve BKC.
Neither the OTM website nor the 2027 exhibitor manual lists official hotels. Bandra Kurla Complex has business hotels of its own, with Bandra and the airport area a short drive away. Book directly or through your own travel partner, not via unsolicited offers using the OTM name.
How OTM compares with SATTE and Fairfest's other shows
SATTE, run by Informa Markets in India, takes place on 19 to 21 January 2027 at Yashobhoomi in New Delhi, ending 11 days before OTM opens. Informa's EY-produced report on SATTE 2026 counts 1,500+ exhibitors and 45,000+ visits, while OTM's 2026 report counts 2,200+ exhibitors and 50,000+ trade visitors. The visitor measures differ, so treat the comparison as indicative. Both organisers describe their show as India and Asia's leading travel trade event.
Fairfest also organises TTF, whose remaining 2026–27 legs are in Bengaluru (19 to 21 February 2027) and Chennai (26 to 28 February 2027), and BLTM, a business, leisure and MICE travel show at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi, on 1 to 3 September 2027. Every date is on our travel trade shows calendar.
