Routes Asia 2027 runs 16–18 March at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. Who can attend, how registration and pricing work, the meeting system and transfers.

Routes Asia 2027 runs from Tuesday 16 to Thursday 18 March 2027 at the Bharat Mandapam Convention Centre in New Delhi, hosted by the Airports Authority of India, with badge collection and a welcome reception on Monday 15 March. It is the Asia-Pacific route development forum of Routes, part of Informa Markets, where airports and tourism authorities meet airline network planners in pre-scheduled meetings to make the case for new air services.
New Delhi hosts the 23rd Routes Asia, according to the organiser. It is a delegate-only industry event with no public days.
Who attends Routes Asia?
For 2027, Routes expects more than 115 of the region's airlines, more than 55 countries and more than 2,500 face-to-face meetings, with over 360 organisations in attendance. It says over 65% of airline delegates are sole or joint decision-makers in launching new routes, and that over 600 new air services across Asia Pacific are connected to meetings at its events.
The last edition ran from 14 to 16 April 2026 at the Xi'an International Convention and Exhibition Center in China, hosted by China West Airport Group, after first being announced for 24 to 26 March. Routes director Steven Small put attendance at over 1,200 and said no earlier Routes Asia had been bigger. Perth hosted in March 2025.
How to register for Routes Asia 2027 and what it costs
Registration runs through a Routes online account, which the organiser's team verifies by hand within up to 48 hours, so create yours early. You then choose your company type and registration option, pay by card and receive confirmation within 48 hours. As of 1 November 2026 we found no 2027 registration link; the latest copies of Routes' pages we could read date from 26 September and 17 October.
Routes does not publish delegate prices on its public pages, and they do not say whether airline delegates pay. For the 2026 edition it advertised early-bird savings of up to 10%, or up to £220, for bookings before 31 January 2026. Routes directs meetings-package enquiries to world@informa.com; exhibition and sponsorship are quoted on request. Journalists with editorial responsibility attend free with media accreditation.

Routes publishes no hosted-buyer programme: the event is built around the airline delegates. Exhibitors choose a Hosted Networking Stand, Shell Scheme Plus or Shell Scheme package, which brings early meeting-system access.
Is it open to the public? No. Entry, including to the Welcome Reception and Networking Evening, needs a registered delegate badge, whose barcode arrives by email a few days before the event.
How the Routes Asia meeting system works
Pre-scheduled meetings are the core of the event: 20-minute slots in the Airline Meeting Halls, with more than 40 slots available, according to Routes. Access opens in the waves shown above, but the latest copy of the meetings page we could read (May 2026) gave no dates. Supplier exhibitors can make up to five airport requests. Routes says airlines, exhibitors, sponsors and Routes 360 members get access in early 2027, and its general rule is that meetings delegates can request meetings two to three months before an event.
When your access opens, an email arrives from noreply@app.routesonline.com. The meeting system is combined with the Routes event app, due in February 2027 on web, Apple and Android. Routes 360, Routes' membership platform, carries more than 330 airline profiles.

Conference, networking events and awards
The conference runs in the Keynote Theatre, with more than 15 hours of keynote interviews, panels, airline briefings and best-practice workshops, and no booking needed. Routes had not named 2027 speakers in the latest copy of its conference page we could read (May 2026); past speakers include Stefano Baronci, Director General of ACI Asia-Pacific & Middle East, and Arnaud Maheu of Airbus.
Routes' provisional programme, which may change: badge collection at the venue from 10:00 to 15:00 on Monday 15 March, then the Welcome Reception, location to be confirmed; exhibitor networking after the first business day; the Networking Evening with the Routes Asia Awards on Wednesday 17 March; and a handover lunch from the Routes Asia 2028 hosts on Thursday 18 March. Routes recommends business attire by day and smart casual for the two evening events, and runs transfers to both.
Getting to Bharat Mandapam and where to stay
Routes describes the Bharat Mandapam Convention Centre as a venue for up to 7,000 people in a single format, with parking for more than 5,000 vehicles. Arrival transfers run from Indira Gandhi International Airport to the official hotels on Sunday 14 and Monday 15 March, and departure transfers from the afternoon of Thursday 18 March and the morning of Friday 19 March, with daily hotel-to-venue transfers in between. Routes said in May 2026 that timetables would follow closer to the event. Delhi's airport reopened its upgraded third runway on 20 September 2026.
HotelMap is the official hotel provider; Routes said in May 2026 that rates would be bookable from the end of June, which we could not confirm as of 1 November. Routes says it is contracting hotels near the venue across a range of prices, with international brands including Oberoi, Le Méridien and Shangri-La. India requires a visa for almost all nationalities, and most can apply online for an e-Business visa. Routes sends visa support letters to confirmed registered delegates only.
How does Routes Asia compare with SATTE and ITB Asia?
Routes Asia is one of Routes' regional forums alongside Routes World, held in Frankfurt from 21 to 23 October 2026. Routes Americas 2027 meets in San Juan from 10 to 12 February 2027 and Routes Europe 2027 in Antalya from 20 to 22 April 2027.
SATTE, also an Informa Markets event in New Delhi (19 to 21 January 2027), and ITB Asia in Singapore (20 to 22 October 2027) are travel trade shows, where exhibitors meet travel agents, tour operators and trade buyers.
