This page tracks 8 travel technology conferences and expos, 6 of them checked against the organisers' own websites, with the tables below updated weekly. It also covers the technology areas inside general trade shows such as WTM London and ITB Berlin, and every show is in our travel trade shows calendar.
The short answer: senior executives and investors should look first at the Phocuswright Conference in the United States, Phocuswright Europe and, for Asia-Pacific, WiT Singapore, all paid conferences. Buyers of technology who want many supplier meetings in two days should apply for a free buyer place at TravelTech Show in London. Tours, activities and attractions businesses have Arival 360, next held in Bilbao and Atlanta, while Skift Global Forum in New York is about strategy rather than procurement.

Conferences, expos and tech areas: which format fits
Most events on this page are conferences. You buy a ticket for a stage programme, receptions and a networking app, and the value lies in who is in the room rather than in stands. WiT Singapore has no exhibition floor beyond a startup Innovation Showcase and no hosted-buyer programme. Skift Global Forum in New York sells three days of keynotes, debates, roundtables and receptions, with session recordings included. The Phocuswright Conference adds a Networking Showcase, breakout sessions and innovator demonstrations to its main stage.
TravelTech Show at Excel London is the opposite: an expo built around buyers. Approved buyers of travel technology attend free, and the organiser, Northstar Travel Group, says more than 700 senior technology buyers from TMCs, tour operators, OTAs, airlines and hotels attend alongside more than 100 suppliers, with meetings pre-arranged through a matchmaking tool. Suppliers who are not exhibiting must buy a pass (£899 plus VAT on the organiser's supplier-pass page, £999 plus VAT on its ticket page), covering the floor and seminars but not the meeting tool.
Technology also has its own space inside general trade shows, useful for vendors whose customers are already there. WTM London's standard trade-visitor ticket includes the WTM Travel Tech area, which the organiser says grew by more than 55% at the 2025 edition. ITB Berlin lists Travel Technology among its market segments and runs a Start-Up Village, the ITB Asia pass covers the co-located Travel Tech Asia, and IFTM in Paris has a Tech Zone for GDS, CRM and management software as well as the Orchestra Start-Up Village.
Startup competitions: Global Startup Pitch, Launch and Trailblazers
One structured route on to a stage is the Global Startup Pitch, run by WiT, Phocuswright and PhocusWire, sister brands within Northstar Travel Group. Under its 2026 rules, judges from the investment and innovation community screen applicants and pick finalists from four regions, two seedups and two scaleups from each. Seedups must be under three years old with less than USD 5 million in funding; scaleups three to eight years old with less than USD 10 million. Finalists receive a free Phocuswright Europe ticket and pitch for five minutes plus two and a half minutes of judges' questions. Winners go on to the Innovation Showcase at WiT Singapore, where two People's Choice winners earn a pitch on stage at the Phocuswright Conference.
The Phocuswright Conference has three more programmes. Its Startup Program, by acceptance only, connects startups with corporates and investors; the Hot 25 Travel Startups are selected by Phocuswright and PhocusWire, with a handful given free presentation spots; and Innovation: Launch is a paid pitch stage for companies of any age, where the organiser puts the cost of presenting at about USD 25,000. In London, TravelTech Show names a Trailblazer Award winner and a People's Choice winner from its shortlisted finalists. Startups pay less to attend: the Phocuswright Conference startup ticket is USD 2,299, against USD 4,199 for general admission at its final price, and WiT offers special rates to startups up to six years old.
Tours, activities and attractions: Arival and Ventrata Open
Arival's conference, Arival 360, changes city: after Valencia and Spokane in 2026, the next editions are in Bilbao and Atlanta. The Bilbao edition, at the Euskalduna conference centre, brings together "the creators and sellers of tours, activities, attractions, and multi-day experiences": operators, distributors, technology companies and destinations, with a "focus on technology, AI, distribution, and connectivity". Pricing favours the operators that technology firms come to meet: Bilbao tickets are listed from €759 for operators and €999 for non-operators, before VAT, rates the organiser marks as for its Insider Pro Access members, against non-member walk-in rates of €1,199 and €1,849. Operators with under $250,000 in annual gross revenue can apply for 40% off.
Ventrata Open is a different kind of event: a conference run by a technology supplier, the ticketing software company Ventrata, whose platform serves hop-on hop-off tours, attractions and cultural venues. Ventrata says its 2026 edition brought more than 300 ticketing industry leaders to Prague for two days. The next host city was still open in November 2026, with the organiser's website asking visitors to vote for Porto, Warsaw or Budapest. A vendor's own event suits operators using or evaluating its platform; to compare suppliers, Arival is the broader room.
Choosing by role: buyers, investors, startups and vendors
Buyers of technology at airlines, hotels, TMCs, OTAs and tour operators can pre-arrange supplier meetings at TravelTech Show, where approved buyers, and consultants who help travel businesses choose technology, attend free. Corporate travel managers can instead register free for the co-located Business Travel Show Europe. At the Phocuswright Conference, a Hotelier Access Program offers hoteliers discounted passes and a limited number of complimentary tickets, subject to approval.
Investors go where deal flow is on stage. The Phocuswright Startup Program connects startups with corporates and investors, and WiT Singapore's attending companies have included venture investors such as Monk's Hill Ventures and Thayer Ventures. Startups should plan around application windows: the Global Startup Pitch had closed entries at least eight weeks before its 2026 final.
Technology vendors selling to the trade should exhibit rather than walk the floor at TravelTech Show, where supplier attendance is limited to exhibitors and paying pass holders, and only exhibitors get pre-booked buyer meetings. At conferences, visibility is bought through sponsorship: WiT sold platinum, gold and silver packages in 2026. Executives looking for strategy rather than procurement have Skift Global Forum, whose past speakers include the chief executives of Airbnb, Expedia Group, Hilton and Accor. Its 2027 ticket costs USD 2,295 until late January, then USD 2,595, with full refunds up to 60 days before the event and free transfers to a colleague after that.
How the year runs
Spring brings Arival 360's European edition and Phocuswright Europe, which moves from Barcelona to London for its next edition. TravelTech Show follows in June at Excel London. September and October are the busiest stretch, with Skift Global Forum in New York, WiT Singapore at the turn of the month and Arival 360 in Atlanta. WTM London and its Travel Tech area follow in November, and the Phocuswright Conference closes the year.

Frequently asked questions
Which travel technology conferences are coming up?
The next travel technology conferences in our calendar are The Phocuswright Conference 2026 (17–19 Nov 2026, Hollywood); Arival 360 | Bilbao 2027 (13–15 Apr 2027, Bilbao); Phocuswright Europe 2027 (24–26 May 2027, London); TravelTech Show 2027 (23–24 Jun 2027, London); Skift Global Forum 2027 (21–23 Sep 2027, New York City). Dates were checked on each organiser's website and the list is updated weekly; the tables above have the full schedule.
What are the main travel technology conferences?
For senior executives and investors, the Phocuswright Conference in the United States and Phocuswright Europe, with WiT Singapore for Asia-Pacific. Skift Global Forum in New York focuses on industry strategy. TravelTech Show in London is an expo where approved technology buyers attend free. Tours, activities and attractions businesses have Arival 360, next in Bilbao and Atlanta, and WTM London, ITB Berlin, ITB Asia and IFTM each run technology areas inside their trade shows.
What is the difference between a travel tech conference and a travel tech expo?
A conference sells tickets for a stage programme, receptions and app-based networking; WiT Singapore, Skift Global Forum and the Phocuswright events work this way, with little or no exhibition space. An expo is built around stands and buyer meetings. At TravelTech Show, approved technology buyers attend free and meet exhibitors through a matchmaking tool, while suppliers who do not exhibit buy a pass (£899 plus VAT on one organiser page, £999 plus VAT on another) without access to that tool.
How can a travel startup pitch at a travel tech conference?
Apply to a competition well before the event. The Global Startup Pitch, run by WiT, Phocuswright and PhocusWire, picks seedups (under three years old, under USD 5 million raised) and scaleups (three to eight years, under USD 10 million) from four regions to pitch at Phocuswright Europe. The Phocuswright Conference adds its Startup Program, the Hot 25 Travel Startups and Innovation: Launch, and TravelTech Show runs the Trailblazer Awards.
Are travel technology conferences free to attend?
Most are not. WiT Singapore's 2026 delegate ticket cost USD 1,900 including GST, Skift Global Forum's 2027 ticket is USD 2,295 until late January, and Phocuswright Conference general admission is USD 4,199 at its final price, with startup tickets at USD 2,299. TravelTech Show is free for approved buyers of travel technology, but suppliers pay unless they exhibit. Arival charges operators less than technology and distribution companies.
Which events cover tours, activities and attractions technology?
Arival 360, whose next editions are in Bilbao and Atlanta, brings together operators, distributors, technology companies and destinations, and its Bilbao programme focuses on technology, AI, distribution and connectivity. Operators pay less than non-operators. Ventrata Open is the conference of ticketing software company Ventrata; its 2026 edition in Prague drew more than 300 ticketing industry leaders, according to the organiser, and the next host city had not been chosen in November 2026.
