The ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) 2027 runs from 18 to 22 January 2027 in Singapore, and its trade exhibition, ASEAN TRAVEX, takes place on 20 and 21 January at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands. ATF is the annual tourism event of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), hosted in rotation by member states. It pairs meetings of tourism organisations and ministers with TRAVEX, which the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) describes as "an annual travel trade-only exhibition with international buyers and ASEAN based suppliers".

TRAVEX is built for two groups: buyers who sell travel to and within Southeast Asia, and ASEAN-based sellers such as tourism boards, hotels, airlines and DMCs. STB hosts the 2027 edition in ASEAN's 60th anniversary year. Its March 2026 listing gave the location as "to be confirmed"; the ATF 2027 website has since published the venue, TRAVEX dates and programme.

Who exhibits and who attends ATF TRAVEX?

The last edition, ATF TRAVEX 2026, ran from 28 to 30 January 2026 at Mactan Expo in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. Host organiser the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) Philippines reported nearly 300 international buyers from more than 50 source markets. They met 363 ASEAN exhibitors in about 7,800 pre-scheduled appointments, generating partial sales leads of PhP 1.44 billion.

For 2027 the event website tells sellers they can meet "more than 350 potential buyers from around the world" and tells buyers to expect more than 100 ASEAN exhibitors. Sellers must be ASEAN-based, from tourism boards and DMCs to hotels, airlines, cruise lines, attractions, online travel agencies and travel technology firms. Eligible buyers include travel agents, tour operators, wholesalers, DMCs, incentive-running companies, associations and meeting planners.

How to attend ATF 2027

Registration for buyers, sellers, media and trade visitors was open on 25 October 2026, through forms linked from the ATF 2027 website, whose contact address is TTG Asia Media in Singapore. Buyer applications are subject to "validation and approval by the TRAVEX Secretariat and Host Committee", and applying does not confirm hosting. The TRAVEX terms list four buyer categories, and no closing date is published. The buyer application forms, however, say a US$350 commitment fee "is payable for all approved buyers", so confirm your category's fee with the organiser before applying.

Sellers. A booth with one full delegate pass costs US$3,800 for members or US$4,375 for non-members. Members are ASEAN tourism organisations and members of listed travel-agent and hotel associations or ASEANTA. Up to three co-delegates can be added at US$500 (members) or US$700. Prices are subject to 9% GST where applicable, and a US$135 late fee applies to each booth application from 1 December 2026. Each booth receives 32 pre-scheduled appointment slots.

Trade visitors and media. Industry professionals who are neither buyers nor sellers can buy a trade visitor pass: US$500 for both days or US$300 for one, plus GST where applicable. It includes unlimited walk-in meetings and the digital show directory; bring a business card for on-site validation. Journalists can apply for a semi-hosted media programme with up to four hotel nights, in return for attending at least seven ASEAN briefings and the ministers' press conference and publishing coverage.

Is it open to the public? No. TRAVEX is trade-only, the tourism organisation and ministerial meetings are for officials, and no public days are published.

Networking at TRAVEX: appointments and side events

TRAVEX runs on pre-scheduled one-to-one appointments, and the site says delegates can pre-schedule "up to 100%" of them. The published programme sets four appointment sessions in Hall A, from 09:20 to 12:00 and from 14:00 to 17:15 on both 20 and 21 January. Around them sit ten ASEAN tourism media briefings, hosted lunches for buyers and media, a Thailand Night on 21 January (by invitation) and the Tourism Ministers' press conference on 22 January, when post-show buyer tours also begin.

The policy track runs alongside. ASEAN national tourism organisations meet their Dialogue Partners (China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Russia and India) from 18 to 20 January, and the tourism ministers meet on 21 and 22 January. TRAVEX registration opens on 18 January in the Hall A foyer and delegates arrive on 19 January. Only a seller's full delegate receives the appointment log-in, and the site does not yet say when scheduling opens.

Getting to the Sands Expo and Convention Centre and where to stay

The venue is at 10 Bayfront Avenue, Singapore 018956, and the organiser says Marina Bay Sands is linked directly to Bayfront MRT station (exits B, C, D and E). Changi Airport's directions to the city are to take the train from Changi Airport station to Expo and change to the Downtown Line towards Bukit Panjang. Operator SBS Transit lists Bayfront (DT16) on the Downtown Line, so that is a single change. Changi says a taxi to the city takes about 30 minutes and costs S$25–45 on the meter. Buses 97/97E, 106, 133, 502/502A and 518/518A also serve Marina Bay Sands.

Hosted buyers stay in the event's official hotels with a transport allowance to the venue, but the ATF 2027 website publishes no hotel list or booking service for other delegates. Self-funded delegates staying near any Downtown Line station can reach Bayfront without changing trains.

How ATF fits the January 2027 calendar

TRAVEX's two days overlap with two other shows. SATTE runs 19–21 January 2027 at Yashobhoomi in New Delhi, and FITUR's trade days in Madrid are 20–22 January, with public days on 23 and 24 January. The same Singapore venue hosted ITB Asia on 21–23 October 2026. Every show's dates are in our travel trade shows calendar.
