WiT Singapore 2027 runs from Wednesday 29 September to Friday 1 October 2027 at Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Singapore. It is the flagship event of WiT (Web in Travel), a wholly owned subsidiary of Northstar Travel Group, and has run since 2005. It is a three-day travel-technology conference with stage sessions, a startup pitch and an innovation showcase, not a trade show with stands and hosted buyers.

It is built for the people who decide how travel is distributed, sold and paid for: online travel agencies, hotel and airline commercial teams, tourism boards, payments and technology providers, founders and investors. Suppliers whose main aim is to contract rates with agents will get more from appointment-based trade shows such as ITB Asia.

Who attends WiT Singapore?

WiT has not published attendance figures for the 2026 edition. It says the event gathers each year hundreds of senior decision-makers, founders, investors and future leaders from more than 30 countries, across airlines, OTAs, hospitality, tourism boards, technology, payments and social commerce.

WiT's 2026 list of attending companies runs to more than 170 organisations by our count, including Agoda, Airbnb, Amadeus, Booking.com, Expedia Group, Google, Grab, Klook, MakeMyTrip, Skyscanner, TikTok, Trip.com Group, Viator, Visa, WebBeds and Wego. Destinations and attractions on the list included the Singapore Tourism Board, Sentosa Development Corporation and Tourism Tasmania, and investors included Monk's Hill Ventures and Thayer Ventures.

The 2026 programme ran under the theme "21: A New Beginning", marking WiT turning 21 (it marked 20 years in 2025) and what WiT calls the third digital age, the era of generative AI. On the main-stage days every session was in one room, so delegates shared one agenda rather than parallel tracks.

How to attend WiT Singapore 2027

WiT is a paid conference. The 2026 delegate ticket cost USD 1,900, including GST, with special rates for startups up to six years old; for 2025 the organiser also offered rates for media and for table hosts of eight or more. WiT had not published 2027 prices by 25 October 2026. The ticket covers every session except those marked "By Invite Only", including WiT Bootcamp, the Global Startup Pitch and The Great WiT Debate, plus coffee breaks, lunches, evening cocktails, the Innovation Showcase and the event app.

Registration is online. In 2026 it stayed open until the end of the event, but there was no card terminal on site, so walk-ins still had to pay through the online platform. Registrations can be transferred to a colleague at the same company before the event by emailing the registration team. There is no hosted-buyer programme; companies that want visibility do so through sponsorship, which in 2026 was sold in platinum, gold and silver tiers alongside venue, media and AI-technology partnerships.

Is it open to the public? There are no public or consumer days. Everyone needs a registered, paid ticket, and some sessions, such as Next Generation Leaders and the Global Travel Tech Thinktank, are by invitation only.

Networking at WiT: app, meetings and side events

The event app is the main networking tool. In 2026 registered attendees received an invitation at least a week before the event, and could use it to find other delegates and book one-to-one meetings during the main-stage days, held in a meetings lounge in the Heliconia Junior Room at Marina Bay Sands Expo. If you opt out of networking when registering you will not see the attendee list, so leave it switched on, or ask the organiser to change it.

The first day is the more informal one. In 2026 the Innovation Stage at Pan Pacific Singapore hosted Next Generation Leaders powered by Booking.com (invitation only), WiT Bootcamp with the seed-stage winners of the WiT Phocuswright Global Startup Pitch, the invitation-only Global Travel Tech Thinktank with Phocuswright and PhocusWire, and opening cocktails. The main-stage days ran as a sequence of numbered "acts", closing with the scale-up pitch winners, The Great WiT Debate and a closing party with the WiT For Good charity auction.

Practical points from the organiser's FAQ: business casual is the norm, halal meals must be requested in advance, and there is no dedicated luggage storage.

Venue, getting there and where to stay

WiT's venues change from year to year, so check the split by day before booking a hotel. For 2027 the organiser lists Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre but has not published a day-by-day breakdown. The 2026 edition used two venues: the 30 September Innovation Stage was at Pan Pacific Singapore, 7 Raffles Boulevard, and only the 1 and 2 October main-stage days were at Marina Bay Sands Expo, in the Heliconia Ballroom on Level 3. In 2025 the first day was held at Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa.

Marina Bay Sands Expo is at 10 Bayfront Avenue. Bayfront MRT station is linked directly to Marina Bay Sands, according to the venue guide of ITB Asia, which uses the same centre. From Changi Airport, the MRT station linked to Terminals 2 and 3 connects to the Downtown Line at Expo station, and Downtown Line trains run on to Bayfront. WiT notes that Grab, Gojek, TADA and Ryde ride-hailing operate in Singapore and that parking is available at its venues.

WiT's 2026 hotel partners were Pan Pacific Singapore, Artyzen Singapore, COMO Metropolitan Singapore and Amara Singapore, each offering conference rates to registered attendees with booking deadlines between 7 and 21 September 2026. The 2027 hotel partners have not yet been announced.

How WiT compares with ITB Asia and IT&CMA

ITB Asia is a trade show with stands, hosted buyers and more than 60,000 business appointments reported for 2025; its 2026 edition ran at Sands Expo from 21 to 23 October, three weeks after WiT, and Messe Berlin lists 20 to 22 October 2027 for its next edition. IT&CM Asia and CTW Asia-Pacific, a MICE and corporate travel marketplace, runs in Bangkok from 14 to 16 September 2027, two weeks before WiT.
