Air India Easy Connect Ahmedabad Delhi transit is now live, adding Ahmedabad as the third spoke after Amritsar and Varanasi. Passengers can complete check-in and immigration at Ahmedabad (AMD) and board their overseas flight at Delhi (DEL) without collecting or re-checking baggage, with international departure within four hours of Delhi arrival.
Two daily Ahmedabad–Delhi services feed the hub: AI1117 departs 08:25, arrives 10:15 from 2 September, and AI1121 departs 20:15, arrives 22:00 from 1 September. The spoke links to 26 overseas points via Delhi.
How does Easy Connect work from Ahmedabad?
CurlyTales reports the flow as check-in plus immigration at Ahmedabad, bags tagged through to the final destination, then a domestic hop to Delhi where passengers transfer airside to the long-haul flight. The spoke does not change fare rules, but early Easy Connect fares ex-AMD have priced competitively with ex-DEL nonstops to stimulate the spoke.
