Dubai Airshow 2027 runs from Monday 15 to Friday 19 November 2027 at the Dubai Airshow Site, Dubai World Central (DWC), according to the organiser's homepage, its 2027 brochure page and its site-wide footer. A banner on its contact page still shows 17 to 21 November, the 2025 edition's day numbers; no other organiser page we checked on 1 November 2026 does. Informa Markets, part of Informa PLC, runs the show; the 2025 edition was held under the patronage of Dubai's ruler, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
It is a five-day trade show for the aerospace, space and defence industries, with an exhibition hall, a static aircraft park, a daily flying display and conference stages; 2027 will be the 20th edition, according to the organiser. Trade visitors must work in the industry, and the public watches the flying display from a separate grandstand, SkyView.
Who exhibits and who attends Dubai Airshow?
The 19th edition ran from 17 to 21 November 2025. The organiser's figures for it are 1,500 exhibitors, including more than 440 first-time exhibitors, more than 248,000 total attendees from 115 countries, 219 aircraft on display, 500+ speakers, 120+ start-ups and more than 490 official delegations. Show-week releases added 21 country pavilions and 98 chalets.
The organiser lists 12 event sectors, from commercial and business aviation, defence, space and MRO to aircraft interiors, air cargo, air traffic management, advanced air mobility and drones. Visitors include airlines, OEMs, airport operators, MRO providers, aviation authorities, armed forces, governments, space agencies and investors, and official delegations come through a programme run with the UAE Ministry of Defence, the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and the Government of Dubai. For 2027 it promises new tracks on aircraft financing and AI in aviation, and a focus on air defence.
How to attend Dubai Airshow: trade passes, prices and age rules
As of 1 November 2026, registration for 2027 has not opened and no 2027 visitor prices are published. The site's "Register Your Interest" button opens a contact form, so the 2025 rules are the best guide.
| Ticket (2025) | Price | What it covered |
|---|---|---|
| Experience Pass (trade visitor) | US$149 when registration opened in July 2025; US$299 including VAT on show days | All five days: exhibition, displays, conferences, Airshow After Dark and SkyView |
| Party on the Runway | Paid add-on to the visitor pass | Opening-night networking at Skydive Dubai |
| SkyView standard (public) | AED 30 online; AED 50 at the box office | Grandstand, flying display, family activities |
| SkyView VIP (public) | AED 60 online; AED 90 at the box office | Preferred seating, VIP lounge |
Passes were non-refundable and non-transferable, there are no VIP badges, and the dress code is business attire or national dress. Exhibitors book through the sales team, choosing from space only, shell scheme, chalets, outdoor space, aircraft display slots and start-up pods.
Is it open to the public? No. The organiser describes Dubai Airshow as a business trade show open to industry professionals only, and visitors may be asked for a business card as proof of eligibility. The public can buy tickets for SkyView, the grandstand next to the site, where the 2025 flying display ran from 13:30 to 17:00, according to its FAQ. A SkyView ticket does not admit you to the exhibition, but trade passes include SkyView. The organiser's pages disagree on the age limit: its Why Visit page says under-16s are not eligible, while its FAQ says under-18s may not enter the main exhibition halls, so anyone under 18 should check before booking.
Journalists can sign up on the media page; accreditation opens closer to the show. Students and graduates have NextGen Leaders, a programme of workshops and university research showcases. The organiser's site describes no hosted-buyer scheme.
Networking, conferences and order announcements at Dubai Airshow
Meetings run through the official app, open to all registered attendees, with AI-powered matchmaking, one-to-one meeting booking, badge scanning and a venue map. Its app page says the 2025 app went live on 23 October, 25 days before the show. Venue wi-fi is "very limited", the organiser warns, so download everything beforehand.
The 2025 conference ran on four stages: Aerospace 2050, Aviation Mobility, the Vista Stage for start-ups and The Academy. Vista, the start-up hub, hosted 120 start-ups and 50 investors. Party on the Runway at Skydive Dubai opened the evening programme on the Monday, and on the Tuesday the site stayed open until 21:00 for Airshow After Dark. The Gala Dinner, organised by Dubai Airports, is by invitation, though the organiser says tickets can be bought through Dubai Airports.
Order announcements draw the industry. The organiser puts the 2025 total at more than US$202bn in orders booked. Its mid-week release lists flydubai's agreement to buy 150 Airbus A321neos (plus 100 options), valued at US$24bn, a flydubai order for 75 Boeing 737 MAX jets and eight more A350-900s for Emirates, worth US$3.4bn. That release mixes orders with purchase agreements, lease commitments and memoranda of understanding, so the headline total is not a count of firm orders. Our aircraft orders and deliveries tracker follows what happens next.
Getting to Dubai Airshow and where to stay
The organiser's 2027 travel page is not yet online. In 2025, the organiser told all visitors to park at Al Maktoum Airport and use the dedicated Park & Ride shuttles to the Dubai Airshow Site, and said RTA buses would loop from Expo metro station on show days. For the airport itself, Dubai Airports says route F55 links DWC with Expo metro station and N55 with Ibn Battuta, both every 30 minutes; buses take Nol cards, not cash.
For visas, flights and hotels, the organiser names an official travel partner on its FAQ page; for visas alone, it says your hotel, travel agent or Emirates (if you fly with it) can also help. It also arranges discounts with local hotel partners, listed on its venue and travel page; the 2027 list has not appeared yet. The hall, meeting rooms and public areas have disabled access.
How does Dubai Airshow compare with Farnborough and Arabian Travel Market?
Dubai Airshow falls in odd-numbered years. Farnborough International Airshow in the UK runs in the even years, and our Farnborough Airshow 2026 preview covers its July 2026 show. Farnborough opened to the public on its final day in 2026, Friday 24 July; Dubai keeps the public in SkyView.
For travel rather than aerospace, Dubai's trade show is Arabian Travel Market, at Dubai World Trade Centre from 3 to 6 May 2027. More dates are in our travel trade show calendar.
