Qatar Travel Mart 2026 runs from Monday 7 to Wednesday 9 December at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) in West Bay, open 10:00 to 19:00 each day, but as of 1 November 2026 visitor registration for this edition had not yet opened on the organiser's site. QTM is a three-day travel and tourism exhibition organised by NeXTfairs, a Doha events company, where destinations, hotels, tour operators, travel agencies and technology providers meet buyers and visitors.
QTM is not a trade-only show, and it moves later this year, from late November in 2025 to early December.
Who exhibits and who attends Qatar Travel Mart?
The 2025 edition, held at DECC from 24 to 26 November 2025, recorded 11,851 visitors, 314 exhibiting companies, 65 participating countries, 411 hosted buyers and 42 speakers, according to the organiser, which also says 91% of exhibitors attained their targets. Its 2024 figures were 10,678 visitors, 300 exhibiting companies, 62 countries and 137 hosted buyers, so the number of hosted buyers tripled in a year.
The show is arranged in 10 product sectors: culture, leisure, business, luxury, sports, medical, halal, technology, sustainability and education. The organiser's 2025 visitor page listed travel agents and buyers, corporate travel decision makers, tourism organisations, government policy makers, investors, event organisers and travel media, as well as leisure travellers.
Is Visit Qatar involved? Yes, on the 2025 evidence. The organiser's 2025 partner list names Visit Qatar as strategic partner, Katara Hospitality as founding partner, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry under "supported by" and the World Leisure Organization as conference partner. Qatar News Agency reported that the Minister of Commerce and Industry opened QTM 2025 under the patronage of the Prime Minister, and that Visit Qatar's pavilion hosted partners in culture and entertainment. The hosted-buyer programme is offered and funded by Qatar Tourism, whose chairman also chairs Visit Qatar's board, according to QNA. As of 1 November 2026 the organiser had not published a 2026 sponsors and partners list.
How to attend Qatar Travel Mart: registration, hosted buyers and exhibiting
For 2025, the organiser offered free visitor registration online. As of 1 November 2026, the "Attend as visitor" button on the QTM site still opens that 2025 registration page, which says registrations are closed, and no 2026 price has been published. Check the QTM homepage for the 2026 link nearer the show.
| Route | Who it is for | Cost | How to apply |
|---|---|---|---|
| Visitor | Trade and leisure visitors | Free in 2025; 2026 not yet published | Online registration (2026 link not live as of 1 November) |
| Hosted buyer | Senior buyers with direct purchasing power | Fully funded by Qatar Tourism | Enquiry form; Qatar Tourism selects |
| Exhibitor | Destinations, travel suppliers, technology firms | Not published online | Book Your Stand interest form |
| Media partner | Travel media | Not published online | Media interest form |
Is it open to the public? In practice, yes. The organiser publishes no separate trade or public days: all three days run the same hours, and its 2025 visitor page listed leisure and holiday travellers, families, honeymooners and travel and food enthusiasts alongside the trade audience.
The QTM Hosted Buyer Programme is offered by Qatar Tourism and aimed at senior buyers with direct purchasing power. Qatar Tourism selects them through its own application procedure and criteria, and they attend as VIPs with a dedicated three-day schedule. The programme page gives no year for its figure of more than 150 international hosted buyers fully funded by Qatar Tourism; the organiser's 2025 statistics count 411. Applications start with the enquiry form on that page. No 2026 deadline is published, so with five weeks to go, buyers who have not been invited should enquire now.
Exhibitors book through the Book Your Stand interest form. The first-time exhibitor guide covers the Exhibitor Portal profile, an exhibitor manual with deadlines, e-badges that all stand staff must download before the show, and forms for extras such as internet and catering.
Networking at QTM: the app, conference and gala
Meetings run through the QTM App, which the organiser says lets participants connect with buyers, schedule meetings and read the conference agenda before the exhibition opens. Exhibitors invite clients and prospects from the app's "My Invitations" tab.
As of 1 November 2026, the 2026 conference programme had not been published; in 2025 the sessions were curated with the World Leisure Organization. The QTM site also lists a Global Village of cultural showcases, a Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony and a media familiarisation trip among the show's features.
Getting to DECC and where to stay
DECC Metro station, on the Red Line, is next to the venue and nine stops, about 23.5 minutes, from Hamad Airport station, with trains every five minutes, according to the venue. The metro runs from 06:00 to 23:00 Saturday to Wednesday, covering all three show days. Bus route 777 links the airport with DECC every 20 minutes for QAR 5. By road, the venue puts the airport drive at 20 minutes along the Corniche; Karwa taxis can be booked at the arrivals-hall kiosk. The underground car park charges QAR 3 an hour for the first four hours, then QAR 5 an hour, up to QAR 70 a day.
As of 1 November 2026, the organiser had published no 2026 hotel or flight offers; its partner-rate pages date from 2023, so book accommodation directly. Airspace restrictions linked to the Iran war still curb some foreign airlines' Gulf schedules, according to The National's flight tracker (updated 30 October 2026): Finnair has suspended Doha until 27 March 2027, and British Airways flies there once a day, not twice. Our September round-up of Middle East schedule changes lists the restart dates airlines had announced then.
How does Qatar Travel Mart compare with Arabian Travel Market?
Arabian Travel Market (ATM) in Dubai admits professional and business visitors only, according to its organiser RX, while QTM's visitor profile includes leisure travellers. ATM's organiser reported more than 55,000 professionals from 166 countries in 2025, against QTM's 11,851 visitors and 65 participating countries that year. ATM returns to Dubai World Trade Centre from 3 to 6 May 2027. QTM also falls a month after WTM London (3 to 5 November 2026). All three are listed in our travel trade show calendar.
