BBTF 2027, the 13th Bali & Beyond Travel Fair, runs from 9 to 11 June 2027 at the Bali International Convention Centre (BICC) in Nusa Dua, with the B2B appointment sessions on 10 and 11 June. 9 June is for arrivals, registration, a buyer briefing and the welcome dinner and opening ceremony, which is for invitees, buyers and media only; 12 June is for check-out and post-tours. The organiser is ASITA Bali, the Bali Region of the Association of the Indonesian Tours and Travel Agencies.

BBTF is a trade-only fair at which Indonesian sellers meet accredited buyers: tour operators, travel agencies, event and wedding organisers and multinational corporations. ASITA Bali describes it as Indonesia's leading international travel fair, and its mission statement, "From Bali we showcase Indonesia", explains the "Beyond": the fair sells destinations across the archipelago, not only Bali.

Who exhibits and who attends BBTF?

ASITA Bali publishes no attendance figures for its last edition, so the numbers here come from Indonesia's state news agency, ANTARA. It reported that BBTF 2026, held from 28 to 30 May 2026 in Nusa Dua, brought together 407 buyers from 44 countries and 286 sellers from four countries. Committee chair I Putu Winastra, quoted by ANTARA, put estimated transactions at Rp6.9 trillion, down from Rp7.84 trillion in 2025, with most deals done with Asian and Australian markets. Note that the 2026 edition ran in May, so the fair does not always fall in June.

On 25 October 2026 the organiser's public buyer directory showed 94 buyer registrations, with 38 verified buyers from 18 countries; it does not name the edition, but the site is promoting BBTF 2027. The seller form asks exhibitors about sustainability and gastronomy programmes, which signals the themes ASITA Bali wants on the floor.

Exhibitors book space only. A 9 m² space includes carpet, 2-amp power, one full-delegate and one co-delegate badge, one login to the appointment system and lunch for two on both TRAVEX days; an 18 m² space doubles those allowances. An R8 partition package with table, chairs, lighting and fascia name costs an extra IDR 2,000,000, and prices exclude government tax.

How to attend BBTF 2027

Is it open to the public? No public days appear on the 2027 schedule. The organiser's FAQ says everyone must register online in advance, with no over-the-counter registration or badge printing at the show; e-badges are scanned on entry and exit.

Buyers register through the online buyer form and must pass accreditation. The administrative fee is IDR 2,000,000 for international buyers, IDR 1,500,000 for domestic buyers and IDR 500,000 for ASITA Bali members, plus 4% for card payments. In return, one person per company gets complimentary room and breakfast (four nights from 8 June for long-haul buyers; three nights from 9 June for short-haul and domestic buyers), return airport transfers, daily shuttles to the venue and functions, and lunch on both TRAVEX days. Flights are at the buyer's own cost. Buyers must book at least 34 meetings through the pre-scheduled appointment (PSA) system a month before the fair and attend the welcome dinner. The fee is non-refundable from three months before the event.

The schedule also lists trade-buyer and invitation registration at BICC from 09:00 to 12:00 on 10 and 11 June, but the online trade-buyer form said registration was closed when we checked on 25 October 2026. Media apply by email to media@bbtf.co.id. Sellers book a stand through the seller registration page.

Networking: the PSA system and the TRAVEX floor

The organiser describes PSA as a mutual matchmaking system in which exhibitors and buyers each choose who they want to meet. Each standard space comes with one PSA login, held by the full delegate. An extra full-delegate pass with PSA access costs IDR 18,000,000, against IDR 4,000,000 for a co-delegate pass with lunch, and a stand can carry no more than three delegates, so decide early who will run the diary.

The dress code is business attire, with traditional clothing required on Thursday 10 June. The organiser's post-tour page lists buyer packages such as a three-day Lombok–Sumbawa tour, a Kepulauan Seribu tour hosted by DKI Jakarta and a community-based tourism programme; the secretariat handles enquiries at buyer@bbtf.co.id.

Getting there and where to stay

BICC sits inside the ITDC complex at Nusa Dua (address: Kawasan Pariwisata Nusa Dua, ITDC Lot N-3, Nusa Dua 80363). The venue says it is about 10 km from Bali's international airport and roughly 10 minutes from the Bali Mandara highway exit, in an enclave with private security. Hosted buyers get return airport transfers and daily shuttles from the organiser; other delegates arrange their own transfer, and the venue offers paid airport transfers.

On hotels, the organiser's site said on 25 October 2026: "Official accommodation information: Coming soon." Hosted buyers stay at its official hotels. ASITA Bali warns that unofficial agencies may approach participants posing as accommodation partners and ask for advance payment, so verify any offer with the secretariat at info@bbtf.co.id.

How BBTF compares with TTM+ and PHITEX

In 2026 BBTF (28 to 30 May, as reported by ANTARA) and Thailand Travel Mart Plus (10 to 12 June, in Pattaya) ran about two weeks apart. The Tourism Authority of Thailand says TTM+ 2027 goes to Khon Kaen but has not published dates, so whether it will overlap with BBTF 2027 cannot yet be said. The Philippines' PHITEX ran in September 2026 with 76 foreign buyers and 102 sellers, according to its organiser. Our travel trade shows calendar tracks confirmed dates for all three.
