The name is deliberate. Bali carries Indonesian tourism almost single-handedly in international awareness, and BBTF exists partly to convert that awareness into bookings for the rest of the archipelago — Java, Lombok, Flores, Sumatra, Sulawesi, Raja Ampat.

Indonesia's geography makes this concrete. A property in Flores or Raja Ampat may be excellent and still be logistically demanding to reach, and buyers who establish the routing at the meeting avoid unpleasant surprises later.

Indonesian tourism policy has been visibly pushing dispersal for several years, backed by airport and route development beyond Bali. Progress is uneven, and BBTF is a reasonable annual gauge of it — which provinces have invested in representation, which have new access, and where capacity has genuinely improved rather than merely been announced.
